The Headteacher and Governing Body wish to appoint a committed, flexible, enthusiastic and highly motivated person to join our inclusive and friendly school. The successful candidates will be required to work as part of a dedicated team alongside teachers in supporting the teaching and learning and individual needs. As this role could predominantly be within KS2, knowledge and experience of supporting children and delivering interventions within this KS would be desirable. The successful candidate will:
- Have a keen interest in developing the diverse needs of a range of pupil.
- Have the desire to want the best for all children and be involved in the full life of the school

- Have good communication and interpersonal skills

Westgate Hill Primary Academy, which joined the Laidlaw Schools Trust in September 2017, is a four form entry school with 750 pupils on roll. In addition, we also provide a full time Nursery. Our children are happy and motivated to learn and are supported by a very dedicated team of staff. We are looking to grow this team from January 2018 and appoint an inspirational teacher to be part of our rapid school improvement.
A position has become available for a teacher in Year 6 who has a passion for improving and enhancing the lives of the children they teach. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and hard-working practitioner who is committed to raising standards and who will be able to contribute to the ongoing progress and success of our school.
The starting salary will be dependent on experience as the post is available to colleagues from NQT to UPS. A teacher who is post threshold must demonstrate experience of making a sustained and substantial contribution to their current school and will be required to undertake additional agreed duties.
